Hm… Let me know when there is a visual guide for identifying dead flowers, because I can’t even begin to guess what this was. It was located in Coral Gables, FL in the butterfly park next to the public library.

Spiny Orb Weaver Spider

was: Gasteracantha cancriformis but is now identified as: Gasteracantha elipsoides. Photo taken at the Fruit & Spice Park in Homestead, FL. She’s completely harmless – but so awesome looking!
