Tarnished Plant Bug

I only snapped one shot of this super small tarnished plant bug hanging out on a wild snapdragon in my yard, so I sort of forgot about him until I was going through photos. But, what a good looking true bug indeed!

Rabid Wolf Spider

Holy Rabid Wolf Spider Carnage! This was a sad sad site indeed. But I promise – I didn’t kill it! I found him dead and dried up on my front porch last summer. But if he could have stretched his legs out he would have been impressive indeed.

Native to tropical areas in Central & South America, this beauty has become naturalized all over the world. My BFF Pef likes this flower. These ones, found at the Raulston Arboretum, are for her. eep!
